Temperament

Each size has a different temperament, but all are good hunters that enjoy working in packs. Portuguese Podengos make affectionate, somewhat mischievous, family dogs. The breed is rarely seen outside of its native country. These dogs tend to be intelligent, enthusiastic, and easy to train. The breed enjoys digging and will need a secure fence.
